There's no single published fare for this route — it's roughly 5 miles via the A26, and like all our local journeys we quote a fixed price based on distance, time of day and vehicle size once you tell us your exact pickup and drop-off. Call or WhatsApp us for a quick fixed quote.
Crowborough sits roughly 5 miles from Groombridge — about the same distance as Tunbridge Wells, just in the opposite direction — reached via the A26, which runs south from Tunbridge Wells through Eridge Green and Boarshead before reaching the town. It's a short, direct run, and we're honest that this is one of our more local, lower-volume routes compared with our airport transfers — we're a long-distance specialist first, but we still cover this journey properly for anyone who needs it, whether that's a local appointment, a family visit, or picking up an onward connection. Crowborough falls under Wealden District Council, the same authority covering the East Sussex half of Groombridge itself, which is a small but genuine link between the two. For local information on the town, Wealden District Council's official website is a useful authoritative source.
Our standard saloon car seats up to 4 passengers with luggage space, and is the vehicle we'd normally use for a Groombridge to Crowborough run. Call or WhatsApp us for a fixed price for this journey.
For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a larger vehicle for the same journey. Let us know your group size when you book and we'll agree a fixed price before you travel.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Fare |

This is a shorter, local route, so we don't publish a single "from" price the way we do for airport transfers — call or WhatsApp us and we'll agree a fixed price for your exact pickup and drop-off before you travel. Information on this page confirmed as of September 2026.
Call C Line Cars Groombridge Taxis on 01892 308008, or WhatsApp us on the same number, to book a Groombridge to Crowborough transfer. Give us your pickup point and time and we'll confirm a fixed price before you travel.
We're based in Groombridge rather than Crowborough itself, so a Crowborough-to-Tunbridge-Wells journey falls slightly outside our usual routes — but call or WhatsApp us with your exact pickup point and we'll let you know whether we can help and agree a fixed price if so.
No. Some taxis charge per passenger on short local trips, which can add up quickly for a group, but we charge one fixed price for the whole car, not per person. Up to 4 passengers travel together in our standard saloon for the same agreed fare.
